Adriana Elena DÂRDALĂ (PhD, full professor, female) is habilitated associate professor, at the Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics, from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. She is PhD since 2007 and is co-author of 10 books, over 50 papers published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, and 30 international conference proceedings.

She participated in 15 national and international research projects and coordinated 2 national projects. She has got research experience during tree projects in energy efficiency research area. For more than 15 years she was IT manager at Data Media Ltd., a Romanian opinion research company.

The main tasks performed are: developing software systems for quantitative research data management and analysis; designing new procedures for unconventional data collecting and analyzing: setting up and management of research projects. Her domain of competence and interest topics includes: modelling energy systems, consumer behavior analysis, database management systems, and web programming
